Post menopause symptoms aren’t many. In fact, the lack of symptoms from menopause is the signal that you are post menopause, or actually no longer in this stage of transition. For many women, the fact that they’ve made it through menopause is a relief. Just think about it. No more hot flashes. You don’t have to worry about making your husband made with your mood swings. With most, these symptoms can be life changing in themselves. They are often something that women worry about and feel anxiety about. These may include such things as hormone replacement therapy. When given, these medications can help the body to overcome the loss of the hormones estrogen and progesterone. The lack or the decreasing amount of these hormones is what brings on the onset of the symptoms of menopause.

There are other helpful ways to avoid these symptoms including a healthy lifestyle of a good diet, exercise and stress relief. In addition, there are herbal remdies that also can be quite helpful in staving off the symptoms of menopause that so many women dread.

So, when do you have post menopause symptom relief? Those that have no period for 12 full months are considered to be post menopausal. During this time, you may experience some of the symptoms that you did during menopause, but they will be diminishing in occurrence. In addition, the same treatments you used for those symptoms can be post menopause treatment.

During post menopause, you may experience some symptoms that are unique to themselves. This may include such things as facial hair. That is due to the fact that your body is still producing what are known as male hormones or androgens. Since estrogen has been reduce so much so, the effects of androgens are more readily seen. If in fact you are experiencing this type of post menopause symptom, it is important to talk to your doctor. Again, there are hormone replacement therapies that can help to side track and avoid this type of reaction. Nevertheless, life does get better after menopause.
